Information on What Can or Will Cancel a Time Trial

One early season TT was moved to a different venue due to snow, two time trials have been cancelled due to heavy rain, and a make-up date cancelled due to a a school event..  It has been a difficult season so far.  Learn more about the process used for determining if a event should be cancelled and how people are notified and when.

Due to Snow, Cochran Road TT on 4/29 has been Changed to Little Chicago

There is a foot of snow on the ground in Richmond and it's not going to be gone before the scheduled stop at Cochran Road.  The TT has been moved to the Little Chicago course in Ferrisburg.  Start time is 6pm.  Note: Looking for two timers.  Can you help out?  Send Kevin an email.

2010 Club Clothing Information

February 26th will the the last day to submit clothing orders.  The color and design of the jersey will remain the same for '10 but some sponsor logos will change.  The short will be slightly modified to remove some of the yellow on the side panel.  Links to samples of the jersey and short will be made available soon.  See the clothing page for information on and ordering GMBC clothing.

Annual Club Potluck & Meeting

Yeah, so it rained a lot, summer was non-existent and the skies were pretty much void of blue, but this wont stop the end of season bash!  The potluck & meeting will take place on Sunday, Nov 8th at  the Catamount Outdoor Family Center in Williston.  Dining and socializing will be from 5:30pm to 6:45pm.  GMBC will provide drinks, plates, utensils, and napkins. 

The formal meeting will begin at 6:45pm, during which Vermont Bike/Ped and Local Motion will give brief recaps, followed by reports from the club's committee chairs and then the election of officers.  Time Trail awards will be handed out, too. Then floor will then be opened for general discussion.  Please contact Kevin to learn more about this, to have a topic discussed, or would like to get involved in the operation of the club.

Monkton Time Trial Info
The final details have been worked out for the new Monkton time trial.  Press this to see the course information.  There will be three turn around points that make up this 9.1 mile course.  The pavement is in very good shape.

2009 Clothing Update

The 2009 clothing will retain the 2005-2008 design, while replacing the green with yellow.  We're still working out the fine points, and will work with Voler to dial in the colors, sponsors, etc.  Here's our concept for the jersey.  Note that the green lettering will change to some other color, as the colors will be limited to blue, yellow, black, and white: 09 jersey proposal.

The short will retain the same solid black sections and gray side panels as the 2007-2008 shorts. The striping, lettering, and rear panel will be some combination of blue and yellow. Here's the current short for reference: Current short.
