Time Trial Cancellations

The GMBC weather manipulators (a covert wing
of the club) sometimes miss
the mark on having each Thursday being a perfect day, although they do try hard
to make it so. When unfavorable weather is upon us, or if there is road
construction or a town event on the course, the time trial that evening will be
in jeopardy.
The last choice is to cancel an event, but if
there is a circumstance that could potentially cause an unsafe condition for racers, volunteers, and
motorists, the time trial will be cancelled. Not everyone will be happy
with this, but please consider the repercussions to the club and the organizer
if there was a critical or fatal injury.
